They say necessity is the mother of invention but for me necessity is the mother of me building tools for my shop. I built the router table extension for my table saw some time ago but hadn’t needed to use it until now. So I just now got around to building the fence. I found the idea for this fence in the Workshop Solutions magazine. It was extremely easy to build and very inexpensive. I intend to get around to adding some T-track so I can attach feather-boards but considering how long it took me to get around to doing this, that will probably be a while.

Looking good.

Just flip it over the fence and put your dado blade set in (if you have one) and get that t-track installed!

Looks like you got some new clamps out of the deal too… or do you leave the price tags on everything?! :-)

I’m sure you’ll get lots of good use out of this. Heck, you’ll probably find projects to make that you didn’t even know were on the list!
