A mallet made from scraps. Red oak, no finish. Turned on 3 axis.

And a walnut file handle.

Very nice design, did you figure out the correct angle for mallet faces, or just eyeball and turn? I have a
couple of maple tree prunings I may have to try this on. Thank you for sharing. That file handle looks real
nice also.
