this was a labor of love carves into a tree about 1/4 of a mile from where I grew up as a child .afforded me the pleasure of seeing many old friends and leaving a large memory behind

Thanks Charlie and Shelia was a fun time and was even better to see old friends …........not to mention get paid for it ,,,lol

Great work. Must be quite the vision for drivers. It’s not everyday that you see a 12ft eagle sitting roadside.

Woodzy ,it has been a traffic slower,,,,,,,,,,,the homeowners love it twice 1. as a carving 2. it slows traffic
plus they get to meet the nieghbors

Great idea, visit old friends, have fun carving and get paid for it! You not only manage to amaze me, you

just absolutely beautiful! It seems like it would be very difficult to carve from a scaffold.

You did an awesome job carving that bird with fish, well done. What species of tree is it? Like my Grandma and art teachers used to tell me, sign & date.
