Brother's Engagement Ring Box

My brother is getting engaged soon so I made him this box for the ring. It was a first attempt on a box of this size. It is maple with a purpleheart top. Four coats of shellac and then a couple coats of laquer. Simple and clean. Lots of chisel work to get this thing to fit tightly.
