From this months new issue of Canadian Home Workshop, I have finally got interest in building one of their projects. Not saying they never have anything interesting but its rare that I build projects of another blueprint but my own. Anyways… In this project I did do some modifications and change of material. They originally ask for maple and cherry but as most of you know I LOVE cedar for outdoorsy projects. One of the 4 chairs you will see in the pics is made of cedar (my chair that is) and the rest are just made of spruce (alot cheaper). They are 2 separate pieces but come together for either sitting or carrying. My beloved mommy did the fabric work for me considering I don’t have a sewing machine. The material chosen is a breathable weatherproof material. To top it off I waterproofed it with Tompsons once again. And of course I had to take a picture of Chloe in my chair :) . I already have a few requests from friends to build some more but I’m clueless as to how much I’d charge for one :S. Any ideas?

Hi Mark, I can just imagine sitting on the beach on one of those chairs, you have done a lovely job here and Chloe thinks so too. She is so sweet please give her a big hug and kiss those cheeks until she begs you to stop.

Thanks for sharing such a nice project Mark.

Are the plans for this chair available some place?
