Walnut coffee table

Found seven of these slabs and grabbed them. The first one made a coffee table for my daughter.
80” L x 25-36” W
Finished with Danish oil.
That is a Stanley #8

Beautiful table! Walnut has always been one of my favorite woods…

I can’t quite make out the base though. Is it a curved glue-up?

Nice! Wonder if it will stay flat and true, and did you treat the underside w/ DO as a measure to keep it straight? Sure looks good, well done.

If seven of these slabs are too much to handle I know where you can lose a few!
Nice lookin table. I’m with Troutguy, some pics of the base would be nice. Enjoy the rest of your wood gloat.
