It took me roughly two hours to scroll this Douglas fir puzzle. There are 65 pieces that comprise the 2-4 layers. Many cuts are tapered so they may be assembled on from one direction. This means that you can be almost done the puzzle only to find that it won’t go together. So you have to take it apart and try again. I’ve solved it perhaps two dozen times and have solved it in fewer than 30 minutes. However, I’ve watched others spend over four hours solving it. You can watch a video of me assembling the puzzle on my blog HERE (it’s fast-forwarded!).

That’s cool. I do mostly scroll type projects. I haven’t gotten the hang of puzzles yet though. I always break a piece before getting through with the cutting. With my luck, it’s usually one of the last few pieces.
