Was asked to create some painted ostrich egg holders. The woods that I used were red oak and cedar. After laminating the boards I split them down the center length wise and flipped one side to create a “checkered” design.

I was wondering why someone would need wooden painted egg holders, so I had to look. Now I see,
the ostrich eggs are painted not the holders. Very nice little segmented rings. Thank you for sharing.

It took me for a loop too when he asked me if I could make them. Had to do some research to see exactly what it was he wanted.
