Hello everyone, today I received a early Father’s Day gift from my lovely family, since next’s weekend I will be traveling out of state. So I spent time getting familiar with it by using it on my latest project. This box will be added to a silent auction later this month to help raise some much need funds for a friends daughter who has gone threw some tough heath issues over the past year. The box’s is made of Cherry, Rosewood, and some figured Maple. I still need some time finishing the interior, but I just had to use my new camera. Also I would like to wish all LJ Dad a happy fathers day and as always thanks for viewing …Blkcherry

enjoy the new toy!

the box looks beautiful, the grain on the sides and top works great with the darker lid frame.

What lens are you using?

That is amazing. The new camera make it look like the box is sitting on granite.

The box is very handsome. I am liking cherry more an more all the time. It is just warm.
Congrats, Happy Father’s Day,
Steve

Wow, BC. The lid looks like a landscape painting. Unique wood grain. Some lucky son of a gun is gonna be awful happy after the auction. Be sure to pass our best regards to your friends and their daughter. God Bless.

That’s a great looking box Wilson. You came up with a great color combination. The tones go so well together. Congratulations on the camera and good luck with it.

Lilredweldingrod, thanks for you review and your best wishes for my friends family.

Lenny hope all is well with family and shop life. The camera was so unexpected I think I’ve been over due. I know I still have plenty of work on this project but I needed something to shot in a hurry and this box just happen to get in the way…lol hey have a hot summer and plenty of fun…Wilson

A very elegant box. The Rosewood is very understated, but a good choice. Hope it helps raise a lot of $.

BC, I had to come back and look at that box again and again. The box is beautiful but the lid is mesmerizing. What a unique grain. Reminds me of a harvest moon coming up over dry, dormant grass in the plains of Kansas or Nebraska.
Makes me feel good to know it is going for such a worthy cause.

Oh, I almost forgot to say what nice work you do. lol Best wishes to all.
