I have very little experience with woodworking. Mostly I do work on my house. My neighbor’s kid helped me sand down a box I am making so I made a couple of these, one for my kids, one for her. I used a radial arm saw to make them, and didn’t adjust the saw for the angles, just used the offcuts to prop up my wood on angles. That is safe, right?

How do you like that clamping job? The first time I tried to get it all clamped up it exploded. I was cracking up in the garage and my wife came out to see what happened, there was glue everywhere, even got some on my face.

Thank you everyone for posting your inspiring work. I love the site, and someday hope to make gorgeous work like the rest of you do. One day at a time :)

Well, I’d say if you had fun making it, and a bird decides to live in it, then it came out perfect !
I bet the helper you gave it to sure likes it!
Thanks.
PS: Welcome to Lumberjocks.
