I also wonder how you hollowed it, or if you just drilled a hole in it for the tube

I just drilled the wood out for the tube. My understanding is that the difference between a ” weed pot ” and a ” vase ” is that the vase is hollowed out and the weed pot is simply drilled so that you can insert a flower. I guess this is more of a weed pot then. I just drilled out the pot and then sanded a little because the test tube, although, it went in, it was a snug fit and I wanted it looser so it would come out easy for filling with water. Anyway, yeah, it’s just drilled and sanded.
