This I made with my bare hands…..with tools in them. My tools are my puppets. I say left and they go left, I say right and sometimes they still go left and I have to start the darn project over again. You live and learn…I just wish my puppets would learn. Stupid tools! Yeah, this is an antique circa 1958? p.o. box door that was begging to be part of one of my boxes. I obliged. Someone bought it, though. So, I don’t know where it’s at now! Could be in Alaska for all I know.

Great looking box. I was at the seafood festival at Destin, FL a few year ago and there was a guy that had a booth selling these type boxes. He had, my guess, aroung 100 of these boxes with the old post office box doors on them. They were made with all kind of difference wood.
Again Great looking box.

Thanks. I actually have four more of these boxes but I need four more doors, lol. I originally made four of them and sold three of them at a gift shop. I have seen the doors on Ebay but they are selling for more than what I paid for mine. I guess that’s why I am reluctant to buy them. But I also guess that they are doing no good sitting in my closet where no one can see them.
