it is a frog spoon….
We were staying in Arkansas at a rented lake home (rivergirl could be permanently employed by the owners) ...and they had a bowl of wood spoons by the stove. I had taken nothing but hand carving tools, and what i needed to replace those wood, carpeted runners on my Dad’s boat trailer.

-those of you who know me realize what a great exertion this was for me! -only one power tool!!! -i used a mortise bit, that was in my trailer fixing kit, to start off the spoon part.
I guess it is a slotted spoon, or a dieter,s spoon!

i only have the phone pics

It’s oak…i’m pretty certain

Ah! I was reading the post title and wondering what kind of spoon wood be best for eating FOG with! Nice job. That is great looking. A big hefty toad. One scared me in the shop the other day. Just came out of no where and starting hoping towards me.

So it’s a foggy frog spoon?

Very nice details, considering all the tools you had at your disposal.

So, did you leave that funky frog spoon at the cabin or did you take it with?

Rule number 1: Do not eat with the frog spoon
Rule number 2: Do not run off with the rule book when you check out
Rule number 3: Do not complain to management about the frog spoon not working….Refer to rule number 1
