This is the second one of these I have buillt for guys retirement or PCS. About the same size as the 30mm gun on the A-10. Made out of 5/4 Walnut and an Ash inlay to represent the muzzle clamp bolt on the actual gun. Next one I am trying to get to turn like the gun actually does.

”... Next one I am trying to get to turn like the gun actually does.” ... albeit, a tad slower!

That’s awesome, might have to make one in cowboy six gun style!

LarryD, very cool. I’m going to borrow from this idea and make a 6-shot revolver on a lazy-Susan so we can play Russian Roulette.

BentlyJ, that was the original plan to utilize 30mm brass (actually aluminum) as the shot glass holders…just kind of hard to get my hands on some right now. Being a weapons loader in the USAF helps but have to be close to the jets to get the spent brass after it is downloaded. It does polish up very nicely…

Thanks to everyone for all for the comments.

I was involved in the installation of it in the 90s. I used to work in Avionics software back in the day.
