A Bar

Project by Harry72 posted 660 days ago 369 views 1 time favorited 9 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is one of my commissions I made a while back, it was for a workmate.
The wood is radiata pine stained to blackwood(Australian). Its based on a half lapped joined frame work on which all of the panels/pillisters and corbells screw too, it comes apart in 3 main parts. All panels are raised with morticed and tenoned rails and stiles
Has all the shelfing below the tenders deck on full extension drawer slides for ease of use.

That’s one great looking bar Harry! The flooring looks pretty sweet too. Welcome to Lumberjocks!

Wonderful job Harry. Did you carve the corbels as well? They add a nice touch to the bar. The details and finish on this project are simply outstanding. Anyone would be proud to have this in their home.

Scott, the corbels are just of the shelf, although one day I’d like to try my hand at making some:)
