Im giving this to my Grandmother. I made it in school wood shop.

Thank you, there are about 3 blocks that have a small space were water could enter. should i worry bout this? if so what do you reccomend for a repair? thanks

Ive used ca glue to fill cracks, but im not too sure it is food safe, maybe try some TB2 and saw dust from the wood used? someone more experienced might be able to give a better answer. Me personally, i wouldnt leave anything to chance/ bacteria…

Very nice. Good design.
I would fill the gaps. Plain old wood glue (Titebond III is very water resistant) and maybe some sawdust to make it thick. But just several applications of glue will work.
