This Wine rack is for my Brother-in-Law Dominic. He and his buddies have wine tasting parties and this will be just right to hold the “Bottles of the night” I made it from hard Maple, it has a red glaze under a mix of stains that I call “Merlot” It is hard to see on the pictures but the finish has a tint of purple and red and the grain of the Maple almost appears like the Tanon in the wine. I finished it off with 3 coats of Shelac and 2 coats of wax. I hope he likes it!

This is sure to be a hit. I know the maple is sometimes difficult in taking the stain. This looks really nice.
