After larger projects, I like to take some of the scraps and make functional pieces for around the woodshop.

After making my workbench, I had some left over plywood. I paired it a few scraps of cedar and made tool tray so I keep some of my most frequently used tools close at hand.

I recently got a Worksharp 3000, so to keep the it, and all the wheels and stuff contained I threw together this caddy that I bolted the device to.

I also have a bench grinder and a small light duty vice that I really did not want to bolt into a dedicated space, so I built some platforms for each that each tool bolts to. They can be brought into play by clamping them in my bench vice when needed.

very neat ideas I like the grinder mt most of all cuz it has built in tool rests and is very easy to set up and take down.

These are all good ideas. I have the identical problems with the same items…...mind if I steal some of these designs? Lord knows that I certainly have enough scraps laying here, there, and everywhere.

Maybe came from scrap but they don’t look like scrap.
