I found the inspiration for this from a Wood magazine article a few years ago. It helps with my OCD and it also is great to take in and out of the cabinet when i need it. I love the Preppin’ Weapons. The base is MDF with red oak trim and handle. I shaped the handle with a template I made years ago for a tray I made. This time I was able to use my spindle sander instead of doing it all by hand – real nice…

Great looking shop project, Plus a great idea have different colors for many sand grits. So you pickup the correct one to start standing or not picking up the wrong one on finish sanding.
