I made a handle for my wife’s Darkwood Pappenheimer sword for SCA Rapier combat. I had some extra stock left over from my first handle that I also posted here. This time when I cut the slices, I did so with a 5 degree angle on the miter gauge and rotated the stock for every cut. Maybe 5 degrees is too subtle, maybe I’ll do it next time at 10 degrees. The last picture is the same sword with the handle it came with.
