Segmented Rapier Handle with a tilt

I made a handle for my wife’s Darkwood Pappenheimer sword for SCA Rapier combat. I had some extra stock left over from my first handle that I also posted here. This time when I cut the slices, I did so with a 5 degree angle on the miter gauge and rotated the stock for every cut. Maybe 5 degrees is too subtle, maybe I’ll do it next time at 10 degrees. The last picture is the same sword with the handle it came with.

very nice! I’ve got a few swords, but none quite as pretty as that :)

I just got a special order. From my Wife, turns out that she wants a matching set of handles for her sword and dagger.
