My son was getting old enough and big enough that he needed to move out of his toddler bed so I built him a new one. This was my first time building a bed and working with cedar. The goal was also to match the theme of his room which is kind of outdoors/rustic. I used a clear sealer on it to keep the clean appearance of the wood and the natural color of the wood matched the rest of the colors in his room.
