This planter box is made of cedar (frame) and recycled redwood (panels). Overall dimensions are roughly 18”x18”x18”. I purchased the pot before building the box so that the plantings would fill the area. Picture #2 shows the support frame. The box was stained with solid hide stain to match some existing furniture and to unify the two different woods.

My wife wants me to make her some planter boxes when I get back home. This looks like a good design.

Very nice. It looks like you’ve been making good use of the “rainy season” we’ve been experiencing. One with a lid for BBQ supplies would also be nice.
