That’s beautiful Mr. W. Did you make them when the kids were of an age to really appreciate them?

My kids are both in their 30’s, but these were built for me.
A friend showed me the plans for the locomotive and I just had to try it.
All the train stuff was done from Dec 2006 and June 2007.
I am getting ready to start T&J’s othe locomotive, Old # 99.
I love steam locos.
My problem is finding a place in my house to display them and boy do they ever like to gather dust.

This is really nice project. I will not insult this work by calling it a toy truck, these you would make for your grandchildren. This is a collectible. The details are amazing. It looks like it is made of cherry with possibly maple highlights?
Thanks for sharing.
-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.
