I recently completed these living room book cases. Furniture grade birch plywood with hardwood trim.

About a $500 project.

Yes indeed, they complement the room. And framing a nice view, too. You just need some nice shears (for privacy when you want) and you are all set.

The key (in my opinion) to great built in projects, is to have them look as if they’ve always been there, not some add-on. You have accomplished that beautifully. Great job. -SST

Good job—well proportioned and balanced. You may want to continue the crown molding around the room. This will complete the look.
