I have lots of Legos so trying to keep them organized is a chore. My dad said we could build a table together if I would design it. I really enjoyed drawing out the design and working through all the math to get everything just right. I really learned a lot on this, my first woodworking project. The table is made from plywood that we edge-banded with Ipe for extra durability. I then painted it black to match some other furniture in my bedroom. We have not built the legs yet because we want to use it for a while to see what height will work best. I can’t wait to do another project with my dad.

Love it!

Legos are an awesome toy/tool and anything to encourage their use is a bonus! Looks WAY sturdy as well.

This is one great job – congrats!

Great job, Fuzzy! Legos were my favorite toy growing up so I can appreciate this project. You keep playing with those legos and they will definitely help your creativity later in life. Nice work.

Super job on the table, Fuzzy and welcome to lumberjocks!! This is one of the best places around to learn woodworking skills, almost on a par with paying attention to your father! When I was your age Legos were just being introduced and I had not even heard of them, I had to wait until I had children of my own to have an excuse to buy and play with them. ;^)))

Good job, Fuzzy.
Organization is great.
I used to keep all my Legos in buckets, which became a real pain when I was looking for a certain piece.
