I turned this as practice from a class that I took last week. It is Cherry with a Cocobolo insert. I finished it with 7 coats of ca glue. I have been working on a faster way to finish larger projects and I am getting close to something that I like. Hope you enjoy, and comments are welcome.

Woodkiller, this is a gorgeous turning. You chose a nice set of woods and the finish looks good.

I enjoy working with cherry and I can see where you had fun creating this piece. I have got to find room for a lathe in my shop so I can join in the fun as well.
