Epoxy Inlay Bowl

This is the second attempt on inlaying with epoxy resin.I used West System epoxy colored it with Trans Tint.I cut the blank up sealed the edges so the color wont bled mixed up the epoxy squished it together and turned it and that’s what I got!

Love it! Epoxy is the most under-used capenters tool. I use it constantly.

That is a cool process.
After I get a little more practice turning, I’m going to give that a try.

I must try this method, could you elaborate a little for me, you say you sealed it ! How did the epoxy stick so well after it was sealed. I would have thought it might come easily apart but you have proven this very wrong. I love it well done, and thanks for showing this is definitely on my list of to do items. Alistair
