I built this for my oldest daughter. I used white oak coated with poly. I really like the grain on this project.

Very pretty. This reminds me of the white oak bed I had when I was a kid. My parents still have it….it is over 50 years old, and looks exactly the same as it always has. I’m sure this will last for your grandchildren.

Very nice bed. It compliment’s the bunk beds you posted earlier.
Just forget the comment about slighting your older daughter. I didn’t get far enough into the posts to realize that you had built something for her as well.
Now that the beds are done I assume that night stands and dressers are on the project list?

Great work! Is it a full size? My youngest is a toddler and she likes to sleep in our bed, I am thinking if I make a little bed like this one I might solve that problem. Keep up the good work.
