hand made mallet

My first project of my journey into hand tools only. A simple mallet, mystery pallet wood for the head, and hard maple for the handle. finished with teak oil. 100% by hand from rough to finished. not much but it functions.

Dan – It worked much like walnut, planes flew through it like butter, smelled nutty too.
Whatever it is, it was at a price I can afford ….free.
