 
 Here is a buffet I built for my wife a few years back. It is a scaled down version from a Wood Magazine plan. If I had to do it all over again, I would have used QS White Oak and a stain that didn’t contrast the grain so much. -- Dan

It’s beautiful the way it is. Besides, we can’t all be brilliant all the time… and you could refinish in order to obscure the grain. I suggest filling the pores as well. Good luck.
