My daughters and I made a couple of birdhouses several years ago (back when my shop was still in the garage that I shared with two cars). I’m afraid I don’t even have pictures of the final products. The girls each painted one and gave them to my parents as presents. Squirrels eventually moved into them and chewed them to pieces.

I don’t know what the pink stick is in the picture. We are actually using a vise attached to the table that the scroll saw is sitting on. There was actually a fair bit of clearance between the path of the saw and the back of the scroll saw despite what the picture seems to show.

Those are the best kind of days in the shop. I truly enjoy having my girls help in the shop. Way to go DAD.

Looking good!
And yes it seems like one wonderful day.
These girls are born woodworkers.

”I’m afraid I don’t even have pictures of the final products.”

Yes you do…..they’re standing beside you in these pictures.

It’s times like this with the kids that make me smile.

Thanks Rob, you’re a good dad.

Looking at other pictures I finally figured out what the dang pink thing is in the pictures. It’s a foam tube hanging from the ceiling we used to use to line up the Suburban we use to have so as it would park just right so we could close the garage door. Drove me nuts not knowing what it was.
