These are a couple of Vertex pen kits from Penn State Ind. I have turned a few before and people seem to like them so I figured I’d get a couple more and turn them. The first 2 pics are of a fountain pen and the last 2 are of a rollerball pen. These pen blanks were sanded to 600 and finished with BLO/CA and Myland’s. Both pens are made with Ambrosia Maple that I got from Ron(rmoore). Thanks Ron. I love the grain in these pens. Tell me what you think?

Looks like you’ve found pen turning to be as addictive as I have. I’ve got a couple of those Vertex kits I just haven’t gotten around to making them yet. Nice work Adam on all your turnings.

Thanks Chuck.

David, pen turning is soo addictive. It becomes and obsession. The wife will vouch for me on that one..lol. I like the Vertex pen. The only problem is that it’s a big pen. I sell them and I have only sold 1 so far but I figured I would sell these as a set. I have someone interested. Thanks David.

Beautiful as always. I think someone who does calligraphy would love these. I’ll have to remember this style for my sister.

Yeah I had someone by my last fountain pen for a calligraphy pen. It was made from Bird’s Eye Maple. I think I have it on here somewhere.
