These pen kits were giving to me from a fellow IAP member living right down the road from me cause he was cleaning out his shop.

All these pens are my first with these kinds of wood.
The first one is Lacewood.
Second is Gator Dymondwood.
Third is Black Palm.

The Black Palm had a lot of splinting and came away from the pen tube. I had a little trouble getting the wood to glue and fit back into the spots they came from but I did it.

All was sanded to 600 and finished with BLO/CA and topped off with Myland’s Friction Polish. All comments welcome.

They all look nice. The black palm is eye catching.

I like the black palm. It’s different. It was a lil difficult to work with cause it kept splitting away from the rest of the blank.

Great stuff Adam. Your pens are unlike any I have seen. I have a friend and fellow LJ who is making pens in his spare time.
