This is a cedar bench I built for my mom’s restaurant. The plan was from and was the first item I made that left my house! I used deck stain to finish it and lots of screws. It’s a really simple design with all butt joints and maybe a few pocket holes. This project was made with a circular saw and combination square. It really whet my appetite for woodworking and now I have about 20 tools and items on my shopping list so I can move to the next level.
