The entertainment center is out of red oak both plywood and solid lumber.

The face frames and doors are all mortise and tenon with the doors getting an accent peg of maple.

The finish is a Minwax Red Mahogany and 3 coats of sprayed lacquer.

All in all I am pleased with the way it turned out but there are a few things that were learned and other things that will be done differently next time.

Mojo1—thanks – it was an audio station on cable—classic rock

degoose—thanks—the pegs were put in after the doors were done as an after thought—1/4” square and sit a bit proud of the surface—the design was my own with input from the owner—they wanted something that would hold a fair number of dvds—there are 8 drawers and should hold close to 500—it’s a bit tall (40”) to the top of the center section but the owner is more than happy with it
