This is a 16 gun cabinet designed to sit in a corner. The back, top, bottom and partitons are 3/4” red oak plywood. The rest of the cabinet is made of 4/4 red oak. The stock of the guns sit on a insert board with 1” foam covered with felt. That way the guns can be turned slightly or moved in or out to accommodate the different guns. The glass is 1/4” thick so that the wildlife scenes can be sand blasted in from the back side of the glass. I also made an octagon shaped gun cabinet once with a lazy susan for the guns. Go to www.etchmaster.com for glass sand blasting supplies, equipment and how to information.

That is really elaborate. I love the oak, and the glass is very nicely done.

You did a beautiful job on this. Is the bottom covered entirely with foam? Did you use clear (safety) or tempered glass? Could you give a few dimensions? Just might have to give this a try. Again, a beautiful job!
God bless

This is a really nice piece of furniture. The glass etchings make this a unique piece.
Thanks for sharing.

I’d like to learn etching. Did you do that yourself or outsource it?

This is a cut above the usual gun cabinet. Beautiful work!
I noticed that you even seem to have arranged your guns in such a way as to follow the arch of the door. <g>

Beautiful! I have some Cherry stuck back for just this purpose. I’ve been thinking of a corner cabinet too. I am really intrigued by your Lazy Susan gun rack idea. How did that work out? 16 guns, that is good, I need to make sure my cabinet holds several as well. Thanks for the posting.

Beautiful!
What a great way to display the guns and not take up so much wall space. Did you etch the glass?
I like the glass side panels too, it really does change a cabinet into a display case.
