Solid ash raised panel blanket chest measuring 47”x 19”x 19”

Lined with cedar. 3 coats of gel clear finish ( Good Stuff ) followed by paste wax applied with 000 steel wool.

Made this in Woodworking class in Castro Valley, Ca. Taught by Jim Vice.

Ash is an underrated wood. This is just beautiful. Great design too. I love it.

Very nice… I’d have found a way to hide those pocket screw holes though.
