Ah, but where did you follow Andromeda to? (grin)

Thank you. I am honoured. Glad to be of some help.

Good to see you creating again. This had me staring at it for quite a while.

I liked very much, very much. Watching your previous project. Beautiful.
Read what you wrote. Even though with difficulty (English is not my native language) but I understand basic. Life is goes on. Thank you.

Excellent! It looks like we all survived, including the fish. One has a remarkable digitized look to the painting scheme that I’m curious how you accomplished.

What a great story! I love the stroller clamped firmly to the corner of the pool table. You had an audience, and I hope an enthusiastic one. The best kind of consultant. Nice work, Moment! and I’m glad you were inspired, especially by someone else’s forecast of Doom!

That was a typo, Barbs… was the scroll saw that was clamped to the table. The painting was done with
brushes….. Enamels and acrylics….needs some touch-up .

Thank you all for the nice compliments !

This is an allegorical piece, using elements of Greek mythology.
The ’ Angelfish ’ covered in stars represents Andromeda, who , in turn, represents the night sky .
The ‘Angelfish ’ that is following represents Helios ,who, in turn, represents the dawn.
There is a dark Ram with white horns trying to turn back Helios.
The dark Ram represents unreasoned fear.
The Ram can not turn back the great wave of Tide and Time that is approaching with dawn .

As day follows night ,thus, night follows day… ironclad idiom .
I could have simply tilted this as ” Following the Night , Comes the Day ”
Sometimes I prefer a classical approach, sometimes abstraction ;
Sometimes a combination, as here , of both . But I love Allegory and Metaphor .
It’s how we learn some lessons , from bedtime stories to Aesop’s Fables and beyond ,
In a fun and interesting way to prepare us , forewarn us , and entertain ourselves ,
As we have been doing for thousands of years .

Thanks for dropping by LJs . I certainly enjoy your works and dropping in on you !
