nice to see I’m not the only one to have done that :). Cedar is a nice wood to work with but pretty soft stuff. will you be plugging that hole or do you plan to use it as a flower pot and keep it there for drainage?

Use it for a flowerpot. Gotta have drainage, you know? :-)

I gave it away with the intentions that they were going to glue a loony (it was to remember a trip to AK through Canada on the Alcan highway) into the hole area.
Cedar is incredibly soft and easy to turn I want to get another piece of it chucked up soon.
I’ve tried twice and turned a hole in both ones!!!
