A 20 gun gun cabinet. I didn’t want everyone who came to my house to know what was behind the closed doors, so I didn’t use glass. Its pine with 1/4”panels. The finish is linseed oil.

I can hear the wood cracklin in the fireplace in our cabin in Tennessee when I look at this. Nice job.

Don – i checked this out after your reply to my question. very nice work. Agree about not making it obvious that it is a gun cabinet. the color is terrific…what did you use?

Its pine with just a BLO finish. Although I like that it doesn’t look like a gun cabinet, I was referring to the way the guns are held. There is no worries about them tipping in any direction.

Other ways work, but if you’re going the traditional way, I’d agree with the 10 degree tilt.

Is there a bottom compartment too?

Tell me about the hat on top of it. Pretty colorful, but I would not have guessed it to be your style.

Shane, there is a bottom compartment, and the hat is my whitetail deer hunting in the rain hat.
