Here’s an inexpensive and quick to make fixture I designed and built to mount an iPod Touch to a tripod. Alter the size and use it for iPhone, Android or other device.
The upper support slides freely on the dowel and threaded rod, just snug up the wing nut to hold the iPod in place.
Materials are 3/4” x 3/4” oak, 1/4” oak dowel, 1/4” threaded rod, 1/4” threaded insert and foam weatherstrip.
I hope to be doing some video posts soon!
Free instructions and Google SketchUp drawing at www.randallprice.com.
Thanks for looking,
Randy
