I designed and madde this for my sisters kitchen. The size was to her spec. The top is some great figured maple I found at a sawmill for cheap.

Thanks all for the nice comments. The finish topcoat is 6 coats of epifanes marine varnish.

Nice looking island, I like the design and maple top. The contrast between the maple and white looks good.
