Project Information

Hi Folks:
I made another air engine. This one out of some left over Brazillion Cherry with a gloss poly finish. I think it came out great! It works great too. My father in law loved it so you know I had to give it to him.

I made a set of Sketchup plans for these if you are interested. I'm asking only $10.00 for a set. You can go to my website www.billrauscher.com and get a lot of details on it.

Either way, this thing is just cool! Thank you for looking and for all your advice.

Bill

Bill, I believe this is one of the best ones I've seen of yours. You make some very nice engines. Keep em coming. :)

Nice looking. I'd love to see a video of what it actually does…

Thank you ianlee. Actually, if you go to www.billrauscher.com and click on "Model Plans", there is a link on that page to a video of this model running. It is really cool

Sorry, I looked at the plans earlier but overlooked the link to the video. Cool. It runs as I would expect. Is it powered by someone blowing on the tube or by air compressor? It would be cool to see you take this a little further and have the engine actually power something such as a mini carosel or something ;)

Looks great. I just ordered your plans…my dad has always wanted a small Stirling engine, but I am a woodworker. I think this will make a great Christmas present!
