I’m on a roll this week. Today I kept myself very busy on finishing this project. A while ago I had posted a display case that I had donated to the epilepsy unit in the hospital up in London and I got fustrated at the fact that I didn’t have on of my own. So since this display case has so much meaning to me, I went all out with the wood on it. In this project which is mainly purple heart for the fact that epilepsy’s ribbon colour is lavender. Other woods combined in here are what I had laying around in my shop. There is cedar, pine, chestnut, ash, oak, maple, spald maple, african bloodwood, and of course purple heart. And of course the meaning of this project is in relation to the brain surgery I had a year and a half ago. Anything that had to do with my successful surgery was put into this cabinet. So I hope you peoples like it! This was a definately different and fun project.
