pen made from deer antler, was interesting turning this as the antler was a bit curved where i could get the pen tubes through. Hoping to make a desk set or more pens with more antlers to give to my summer boss.

Very cool. Love the deer antler. Bet it stunk when sanding. lol. I’ve cut antlers before, smells like burning hair.

i’ve done a few pens out of deer antler, and agree with the other two jocks. trying to drill the hole through a curved piece was quite a challenge for me, but as for the finished product, i am amazed with the colors that are found in them! soft purples and greens…they make a beautiful gift and you did a great job! keep it up!

I like turning antler. I have some elk antler to turn this summer. I really like the look of the elk antler.
