Just finished this cutting board which I will be giving away as a wedding present. I used material that I already had on hand: maple, purple heart, cherry, and walnut. I used the maple to contrast with darker woods and am very happy with the way it turned out. Overall dimensions around 11×14”.
The photos show the board at various stages.
Photo 1—completed board with a combination of beeswax and mineral oil finish.
Photo 2—the cut pieces arranged, but not glued.
Photo 3—the glued pieces
Photo 4—after running it through the planer
Photo 5—after cutting it on the table saw and initial sanding
Photo 6—after routing the edges with 1/4 roundover bit and sanding to 320 (ready for finish)

Brandon, this is a good looking cutter that will make a nice gift. Nice choice of woods as well.
