So this is the bed frame that I’ve been sooo longing to build. If you’ve seen my other projects you’ll see that this has been done on sketchup a while back ( I did do some modifications though). It was designed to match my maple armoire which would be common sense. I still have to do up the side panels because I absolutely HATE not having side panels. But she is solid like a rock and I do still want to make a few adjustments. Other than that She is nothing but solid maple with 1/4” maple ply panels. Wipe on poly finish like every other project I’ve built pretty much and a duration of 5 evenings to build her. It was alot of fun building this project. Something other than the rad covers finally. I get more done in my shop when I didn’t have my computer than when I did lol. Hope you like it.
P.S. Sorry about the pics they’re pretty dim. They looked better on the digital camera.

You know what’s awesome? Spray painting “SANDING STATION” on your sanding station, in black and purple. Very punk rock. I have often thought of plastering my tools with band stickers and having visitors to my shop sign the cabinets and tools with a sharpie….Oh yeah, the bed is awesome, too.

Hi Mark, good work on the bed, dont forget to put up the pictures when you have completed it, I would like to see it. Is it solid enough for the children to jump on … lol.
Thanks for sharing Mark.
