Yet another Shopmade 12" Disk Sander

As mentioned in my previous post on making a 12’‘ disk sander, here are pictures from a similar 12” disk sander I made few years ago for a friend of mine. Different or similar? This one was entirely made out of 3/4’’ thick MDF, including the disk.

Creative, now add a t-track so you can use the mitre from the tablesaw.

great tool serge

i keep seeing a tilting table
in it yet

shouldn’t be to hard
maybe keep this one for square
and a cut away one for angles

@Mads: I already love that one (I mean the female friend for who I built this disk sander few years ago) :-)

@patron: I have in mind an auxilliary tilting table that will be used on the disk sander as well as my drill press. Thanks for stopping by.

I made one about like that, made a closed box on the bottom, to give me a place to stick a vacuum hose. It sure tosses the dust otherwise.
