I made these boxes for my mom. I just can’t remember what they are used for. Coffee storage? They are poplar and polyurethane. I know poplar is a cheap wood but man it came alive after I sanded and finished these boxes.

Nice boxes. I really like the grain on the poplar.
I think that you have it arranged wrong, and perhaps that can help you remember that you made these boxes for food, since they can spell EAT.

Nice boxes, Josh.
You’d need 3 more for coffee.

You are all too kind and I very much appreciate your words of affirmation. Brandon, I told my mom that before dinner she could arrange them to say eat, then after dinner she could arrange them to say ate. I was really surprised how much that poplar sparkled once I finished it. I have always been and will always be a big fan of poplar. I just love those greens and purples. I took that board from a lawn tractor pallet at Sears that would have just been thrown away. But now?......tea boxes for me mudder! The only problem I had was resawing it on my table saw. Didn’t really feel all that safe!
