Is this piece done on a ringmaster? Gorgeous piece, just beautiful. I thought it had been turned.

i just looked up ringmaster, never even heard of it…no mike, i designed, cut, turned the piece and spun the copper…;') thanks guys…

Another awesome piece in my opinion(apparently in a few others as well), I think you need to do a blog on how you do this before it gets to the lathe! I, for one, would love this. If I may ask, how thick did you turn this or is thin a better word?

thanks everyone for the kind words…Erwin, I think it's about .5" thick, don't quite remember; I think a reasonable thickness is good for the glue joints, but thinner means less stress for different grain orientation..sooo, kind of a give and take I suppose…;')
